Out of Network Provider
If your insurance is not listed above, I would be considered an out-of-network provider. You are welcome to request a superbill after our sessions to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Each healthcare plan is unique and I cannot guarantee that your insurance provider will cover any out of network cost.
Payment
I accept cash, check, credit cards and health savings cards.
In-Office Sessions
Where are you located?
My office is conveniently located in Winter Park in the Louisiana Office Park.
How often will we meet?
Initially I’d like to meet with you on a weekly basis to establish and build upon our relationship and to ensure that you can maximize progress toward your treatment goals.
In terms of length of treatment, this often varies depending on a number of factors such as presenting issues, intensity of symptoms, diagnosis, resources available and is specific to each individual’s journey.
Sessions typically run 50 minutes but I do offer 80 minute EMDR sessions by request.
What can I expect in our first session:
During our initial session I will spend some time reviewing consent and limits to confidentiality. I will be happy to answer any additional questions that you have about policies or about my background.
From there, it’s all about you! I look forward to hearing your story, what brings you in to therapy at this point in time and together we will explore potential goals for treatment. There are times when I may offer “homework” between sessions but this is solely for your benefit as there are more hours in the week than there are spent in therapy.
Virtual Therapy
I am able to see clients across the state of Florida through telehealth. We will meet via Simple Practice (my secure on-line portal) or through GoogleMeet.
Virtual appointments give you the flexibility to meet where and when you want to. It cuts out driving time and time away from work— I see many clients on their lunch breaks or while their children are napping.
All you need is a smart phone, tablet, or computer and a strong internet connection. I’ll ask you to find a private space without interruption to protect your privacy.
What to Expect
After we schedule our initial appointment, you will receive an email from my secure online portal where you will be prompted to read through my practice policies, consent forms and privacy practices.
This is also where you will complete your intake paperwork including history forms and assessments so that we are able to track your progress in therapy. You will upload your method of payment (Visa, MC, Amex, HSA Card) and personal information.
